I was on a Florida road trip and parked at Naples Beach Parking before walking there. It took me about 15 minutes to walk the distance, which was less than a mile. Along the way, there were downtown shops, so walking didn’t feel too far. However please don’t expect the downtown atmosphere of Miami Beach. Think of it as more of a quiet neighborhood with some nice eateries.
Fishing, Sailing and Sightseeing | Naples Family Activities
When I arrived at the City Dock, I could find a list of various activities at the entrance.
The main activities seemed to be fishing and yacht sailing, but I came for a leisurely stroll until sunset, so I didn’t particularly engage in any activities. The weather was lovely, and it was a refreshing experience.
It was fascinating to see the booths along the path leading to the end of the dock, where people were each maintaining their yachts.
The resort across the sea had a terrace connecting directly to the ocean from the rooms, which looked very appealing.
This time, I booked a budget-friendly hotel a bit away from the beach since I was backpacking. However, next time when I come for a vacation with my family, I’d like to try booking there.
The boat shaped like a cabin was popular, and the lively crowd seemed to be having a blast.
